Additional Materials/Equipment required:

Full Dance kit is expected at all times, pupils are allowed to wear plain black leggings and a plain black t shirt/long sleeved top.

Home Support:

Please encourage full participation in all dance lessons and ensure your daughter has the full correct kit for all Dance lessons. If pupils are excused from practical participation in lessons, they will need to ensure they bring a signed and dated note in their planner. They will be expected to contribute to the lesson demonstrating their choreographic and appreciation skills, along with written work. Homework is often set by way of rehearsal or preparation for next lesson and research into different styles of dance. We also encourage all pupils to take part in at least one performing arts extra-curricular club or group. The dance department offers a wide range of clubs and dance companies that all pupils can get involved with.
