Welcome to Ricards Lodge High School

Ricards Lodge has been a great school that has opened up new areas of learning and personal growth. Each year has brought unique experiences, pushing me to keep an open mind and challenge myself.

As one of the Assistant Head Girls, I enjoy collaborating with the JLT members, serving as a voice for the school, and inspiring everyone to achieve our fullest potential together.

I am so proud to be part of the Head Girl team, alongside the other resilient and fantastic girls. We all care deeply about making the school a better place and leaving a positive impact.

Whilst I am still uncertain about what my future holds, I am confident that Ricards Lodge has prepared me for any challenge I may face.

During my time at Ricards Lodge, I have been actively involved in various roles, including being a part of the JLT, Cultural Ambassadors, POP, the International Women's Day group, and serving as a Wellbeing Representative for many years.

As Assistant Head Girl, I hope to encourage and support students at Ricards Lodge in creating a manageable yet productive school environment. I am highly committed to our school values and what they represent, particularly aspiration. My goal is to inspire all students to find something they enjoy and to encourage them to try new things.

Being a member of the Junior Leadership Team is such a huge honour for me. It reflects the incredible journey I've had from Year 7 to now, as Assistant Head Girl in Year 11. If I had asked my Year 7 self whether I could ever take on such a significant leadership role, I would have said no. However, thanks to the support of my friends and teachers, I've gained confidence and found my voice.

When I first joined Ricards Lodge, I was really nervous. I worried that I wouldn’t fit in or that people might judge me. For the first week, my nerves made me feel unsure and out of place. However, I soon realized that Ricards Lodge is an incredibly friendly and welcoming school. The people here were kind, open, and always happy to help.

I am proud to be a member of the Junior Leadership Team. It brings me immense joy to be part of a group with such wonderful members, all of whom go out of their way to ensure that the voices of Ricards Lodge students are heard and acted upon. Joining the JLT was a goal I had set for myself once I reached Year 10, so I am elated to finally be part of a team that works tirelessly to improve our school and make it an incredible experience for everyone.

As Deputy Head Girl, my goal is to help cultivate a positive and nurturing environment for younger students, empowering them to achieve their goals throughout their time at Ricards Lodge.

I am immensely proud to be appointed as Deputy Head Girl and to have the opportunity to work alongside members of the school community who are passionate and dedicated to helping everyone grow into the best version of themselves.

Being a part of the Junior Leadership Team has allowed me to reflect on the achievements I have attained throughout my five years at this school. Now, as a student in Year 11, I can confidently say that Ricards has prepared me for the challenges I may face in the future.
