What Our Girls Say

Year 11, Assistant Head Girl

Hello! My name is Cristina and I am one of the Assistant Head Girls. I am looking forward to working with parents and students to further improve our outstanding school.

Ricards Lodge has provided me with a range of opportunities. Despite the fact I joined in Year 9, I was able to settle in rapidly and have been able to take part in activities and courses which will aid me in achieving my future aspirational targets.

With so many clubs, it’s more than easy for anybody to feel inspired to either step out of their comfort zone, or improve existing skills. Across all departments, there is a myriad of extracurricular opportunities both within the school and outside of school. From trips to conferences, one can help build up an idea of what potential career sector they could see themselves working in.

My favourite thing about Ricards is the diversity and appreciation for the concept of community. I think it’s very important to be surrounded by a variety of cultures as it encourages preparation for future work environments. It is also extremely interesting and provides a form of social awareness within our school.

The school has such a welcoming atmosphere and support system and discourages prejudice. I strongly believe that anybody would be elated to know that they can be themselves unapologetically and will always be provided with the correct tools to improve their learning experience to the fullest.
