CPD
Ricards Lodge High School is committed to the professional development of all of its staff. Our school strategic plan has five pillars and our professional development programme aims to create a shared purpose and a sense of belonging. We are a Leading Edge member of the The Schools, Students and Teachers network (SSAT) and recognised as an Embedding Formative Ambassador School. Our work is driven by the SSAT Transforming Practice Framework, and we have been awarded Transforming practice in Principled Curriculum, Moral Leadership and Climate for Learning.
We have a dedicated team of practitioners who plan and deliver the CPD programme in line with our school improvement plan. This team includes Lead Practitioners, ITT Leads, SENCO and Senior Leaders. We work in partnership with the SSAT, Wandle Teaching Alliance, Roehampton University and lead on secondary training for Teach Wimbledon. These partnerships enable us to have access to high quality ECT programmes, National Professional Qualifications at all levels, leadership programmes, local and national conferences.
