Governors
The governors at Ricards Lodge High School have 3 core functions:
- Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
- Holding the school to account for the educational performance of the school and its students, and the performance management of staff
- Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent.
We are fortunate to have a thriving Governing Body who take an active role in the life of the school. The Governing Body meets termly and visits to the school take place throughout the year.
A message from the Co-Chair of Governors:
"I have been a governor at Ricards Lodge since 2010, elected first as a parent governor and then once my daughter had graduated from RR6, as a co-opted member. I was proud to be elected as Chair of Governors in 2018.
I look forward to continuing the work to support and challenge the school so that we continue to offer all our students a nurturing yet challenging secondary education.
As a governing body we are all extremely proud of all that the school has achieved over the years and that was of course recognised by Ofsted last year with our outstanding inspection grading. It is always a pleasure to visit the school and witness the excellent learning that is going on as our students develop the skills to flourish in the world today."
Best wishes
