What Our Girls Say

Ellie

Year 11, Deputy Head Girl

I feel privileged to be a Deputy Head Girl and part of the Junior Leadership Team at Ricards Lodge. I’m proud to be a member of the amazing and diverse community that Ricards is.  We are an inclusive school and strive to follow the four key values every day which help us achieve our full potential.

I have enjoyed being a member of the peer outreach programme (POP) since last year.  POP is a student group that works in partnership with teachers, to support students to feel included in the school community across all year groups.

What I have most valued during my time at Ricards Lodge is the wide variety of opportunities available to students. These support the development of skills and interests beyond the wide curriculum offered.   Some of the many opportunities are clubs, sports competitions, science challenges, model UN and mock trial.

Ricards Lodge has given me the opportunity to develop skills such as leadership and participate and achieve things I didn’t know I was capable of.

All of the staff work to support the students here in achieving their utmost potential.  The school vision is to ensure all students are given the skills and self-efficacy to become ‘successful women of the future’.
